Before her election as MNA for Laviolette, Julie Boulet is married and has two children. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy at Université Laval and owned and ran a drug store in her hometown of Saint-Tite. Before her election as MNA for Laviolette, Julie Boulet is married and has two children. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy at Université Laval and owned and ran a drug store in her hometown of Saint-Tite.

Committed to community affairs, she was a member of the Saint Tite Business Association and volunteer president during reconstruction of the stands at the Saint Tite Western Festival.

Beginning in 2003, Julie Boulet has been delegated Minister for Health and Social Services and delegated minister for Transport and minister of Transport. She is now Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity and Minister responsible for the Mauricie Region.
